We are presently looking for our next great team member as a Resort Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you!

The Resort Attendant is responsible for undertaking all aspects of the housekeeping, laundry, and janitorial operations. Whether it’s getting our guest rooms ready, cleaning common areas of the resort, or working in laundry operations, this role requires flexibility in working in all areas of our accommodations department. Variety and cross-training are key components of this position. As this role is unique and built to support various areas of the operation, there will also be cross-training and work opportunities with front desk and banquet services.

Responsibilities include: (but not limited to):

* Clean rooms, cabins, & chalets to a high standard and within time given. This includes stripping and making beds, cleaning the bathrooms, cleaning the kitchens & living areas, and removing all garbage from inside and outside areas.

* Ensures that all room amenities are in place

* Ensure the lodge, Loon Lagoon (pool & fitness facility), restaurant, banquet rooms, washrooms and hallways are cleaned to a high standard daily.

* General cleaning of offices, public areas including; vacuuming/sweeping/mopping/dusting/ sanitizing walkways and stairways, dusting and wiping down high touch surfaces, washing windows, removing garbage

* Ensure all the Resort’s laundry is separated, cleaned, folded, and stacked in a timely manner

* Monitor and maintain the turnover of laundry in an efficient manner to meet set productivity standards

* Keep Laundry area in order and prioritize laundry duties for the day

* Monitor stock levels and report anything to be ordered in a timely fashion

* Follow safety protocols, including adherence to hygiene and cleanliness standards

* Deliver additional linens & guest amenities to accommodations

* Complete all guest requests in a timely manner

* Report any room deficiencies to the RA Supervisor/Manager

* Perform general outdoor cleaning duties, including snow removal from building entrances in the winter.

* Possible work in other departments such as banquet set-up/tear-down

* Assist other departments with general duties around the resort 

Requirements:

* Understanding of hotel and housekeeping operations.

* Previous experience in housekeeping, laundry or janitorial an asset.

* A valid class 5 or 7N driver's license valid in BC is an asset.

Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)

* Driving guest & staff to and from the ski hill in winter conditions.

* Perform pre-check duties on vehicles, and work with our maintenance dept. to identify any issues.

* Assist in the maintenance of the ski hill and resort area on non-driving days.

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

* Class 1 or 2 with air brake endorsement is required.

* Winter Alpine driving experience.

* Plan and host snowshoe & Nordic Ski tours and guided activities for individuals and groups. * Demonstrate and instruct Snowshoe & Nordic Ski (Classic & Skate Ski) activities and techniques. * Monitor Nordic activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required. * Patrol Nordic Ski trails to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required. * Enforce safety rules and regulations and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. * Maintain Nordic trails, snowshoe trails, skating rink, and sledding areas.

* Assemble supplies and equipment for Snowshoe, Skate & Nordic Ski rentals, lessons. * Maintain and carry out repairs on Nordic sports equipment. * Sell trail passes and handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.

* Discuss and sell retail products.

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

* Previous Nordic skiing experience (Skate or Classic) is required. * Possess or willing to obtain a valid CANSI Certification at the start of the season.

* Valid First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain before or at the start of the season.

* Strong customer service skills.

* Must be approachable, dependable and a strong team player. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Excellent physical condition; ability to work in outdoor, adverse weather conditions and perform manual labor. * To meet seasonal demands, you may be required to assist in other departments as needed.

* Distributing pre-purchased rentals & tickets and registering Snow School participants.

* Tech and adjust the rental equipment to meet specific customer needs.

* Tuning and repairs of Guest Alpine Equipment.

* Maintain a safe & clean environment for the customers and colleagues at all times, including cleaning washrooms and keeping the Alpine Guest Services building sanitized.

* Set up and take down crowd control measures and snow school signage.

* Shoveling snow and maintaining a clear and ice-free environment around the AGS Building.

* A minimum of intermediate ski/snowboard ability

* Strong customer service skills

* Will be required to work Weekends & Holidays.

Responsibilities include: (but not limited to) 

• Compliance with all Manning Park Guiding Values, policies, and procedures as outlined in employee handbook and Patrol Manual
• Ensure guest and safety through identifying and mitigating hazards, maintaining all ski area ropes and signs, opening and closing runs, assessing, and mitigating avalanche risk, compiling weather data, providing first aid, participating in rope rescues, locating missing persons within bounds, and contributing to public education.
• Patient care record keeping and incident investigation documentation
• Guest Relations, including managing difficult guests
• Exemplify and enforce the Alpine Responsibility Code
• Assisting with all events
• Communicate clearance to open runs, on-hill hazards, etc
• Keeping the ski area clean of debris and garbage
• Maintenance, inspection, and documentation of all Ski Patrol equipment
• Sign and uphold Manning Park’s Confidentiality Agreement
• Night On-Call resort/staff first aid
• Assisting Lift Operation with Daily opening
• Other tasks as required

Job Requirements / Qualifications: 

• Valid Occupational First Aid Level 3 (Preferred) or higher certification or CSP, 80 hr. Wilderness First Aid, or equivalent
• Full driver's license is required
• Safety-oriented working attitude and a professional manner
• Excellent communication and guest services skills
• Ability to be a supportive team member
• Able to follow direction and work unsupervised
• Advanced skiing/snowboarding skills; must be able to ski all runs with toboggan
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
• In excellent physical condition
• Previous experience in patrol, first aid, snowmobile driving, SAR an asset
• Avalanche Skill Training 1 (AST 1) or higher an asset
• Fall Protection training, Work on High or Rock Climbing experience are assets.

The Assistant Maintenance Manager supports the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the daily operations, maintenance, and repair of all resort buildings, facilities, and equipment. This role ensures that all property systems function efficiently and safely, helping deliver a positive experience for guests and staff.

As a key member of the Manning Park Resort Leadership Team, the Assistant Maintenance Manager participates in planning for future development, leads by example, and mentors team members to maintain high standards of performance, safety, and service quality.

Responsibilities includes (but not limited to):

Operational and Technical Duties:

* Supervise and assist in the maintenance and repair of all resort facilities, buildings, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

* Support the Maintenance Manager in assigning and monitoring daily, weekly, and monthly work tasks for the Maintenance Team.

* Perform regular property inspections to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety, building, and fire codes.

* Maintain and organize inventories of tools, materials, and supplies required for maintenance operations.

* Assist with coordinating and supervising external contractors to ensure all work is completed on time, within budget, and to resort standards.

* Develop, review, and improve preventive maintenance programs for buildings, machinery, and utilities.

* Monitor resort utilities (water, heating, power, etc.) and identify opportunities for operational efficiency and cost savings.

* Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies and support the team in resolving issues effectively.

Leadership and Administrative Duties:

* Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance team members to promote skill development and strong teamwork.

* Participate in long-term maintenance planning and infrastructure improvement projects.

* Support the Maintenance Manager in preparing budgets, tracking expenditures, and maintaining accurate maintenance records.

* Promote and enforce Manning Park Resort’s health and safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all staff.

* Communicate clearly with other departments to support smooth resort operations.

* Perform other related duties as needed to support the success of the Maintenance Department and the Resort as a whole.

Qualifications:

* Broad knowledge or certification in several of the following areas: electrical, plumbing, gas fitting, boilers, mechanical systems, pool and water treatment, and construction.

* Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management position.

* Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and listening.

* Positive, professional attitude with proven ability to lead a team.

* Competency of computers and basic maintenance tracking systems.

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

* Valid B.C. driver’s license with a clean driving record.

* Experience operating small and large maintenance equipment is an asset.

* Red Seal certification in a trade is an asset.

* Knowledge of IT systems, building automation, or energy management systems is an asset.

* Previous experience in a hospitality, resort, or remote property setting is an asset.

Physical Requirements:

This is an active, hands-on role that requires regular walking, lifting, operating machinery, and working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. The successful candidate must be comfortable performing physical work five days per week.

We are presently searching for our next great team member as a Ski Patrol to join our Alpine Operations team. If you can provide our guests with an amazing experience, combined with working as an energetic part of our resort, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities include: (but not limited to)

* Ensure guest and safety through identifying and mitigating hazards, maintaining all ski area ropes and signs, opening and closing runs, assessing, and mitigating avalanche risk, compiling weather data, providing first aid, participating in rope rescues, locating missing persons within bounds, and contributing to public education. 

* Patient care record keeping and incident investigation documentation

* Maintenance, inspection, and documentation of all Ski Patrol equipment

* Communicate clearance to open runs, on-hill hazards, etc. 

* Exemplify, educate and enforce the Alpine Responsibility Code

* Guest Relations, including managing difficult guests

* Assist with all special events 

* Assist with keeping the ski area clean of debris and garbage 

* Compliance with all Manning Park Guiding Values, policies, and procedures as outlined in employee handbook and Patrol Manual 

* Sign and uphold Manning Park’s Confidentiality Agreement 

* On-call evening shift for the resort and staff first aid 

* Assist Lift Operation with daily opening

* Assist Terrain Park Ranger with opening, monitoring, closing features

* Assist with snow removal, roof clearing, etc.

* Other tasks as required 

Job Requirements / Qualifications:

* Valid Occupational First Aid Level 3 (Preferred), CSP, 80 hr. Wilderness First Aid, or equivalent.

* Safety oriented working attitude and a professional manner 

* In excellent physical condition

* Advanced skiing/snowboarding skills, must be able to ski all runs with toboggan 

* Excellent communication and guest services skills 

* Ability to be a supportive team member 

* Able to follow direction and work unsupervised 

* Ability to work in adverse weather conditions 

* Previous experience in patrol, first aid, snowmobile driving, SAR an asset

* Avalanche Skill Training 1 (AST 1) or higher an asset

* Fall Protection training, Work on High or Rock Climbing experience an asset
